Our Story...

We live in small town Franklin, Idaho and absolutely love it!! Tim and I have been married for 11 years and we have three crazy, busy boys; Nicholas (Nic) is 9, Tyler (Ty) is 6, and Joshua (Josh) is 4 and a precious little girl (Alexys) who just turned 1. Tim works for the U.S. Postal Service as a Supervisor. I am a State Licensed Daycare Provider and Preschool Teacher. I love my job (most of the time) and I am so grateful for the opportunity that I have to be home with my kids. I don't have time for scrapbooking and so this is as close as it gets to preserving my family's journey through life.

Shalee....

Oh, did we have fun!!  I got to photograph a sweet girl from here in Franklin named Shalee.  We laughed more than anything.  Here are a few of my favorites and her graduation announcement which I got to design for her.

Preschool is done :) ;'(

So I don't know whether to smile about this, or cry??  This has been the funnest year for preschool.  The kids were so enjoyable and so sweet.  They worked so hard everyday and we accomplished so much.  We did a little graduation program on the last day for parents and grandparents and they were so cute!

I gave the kids each a licorice rope for graduation that I had shaped into a heart and attached this little poem I wrote.  I had to share because it turned out so cute :)

This licorice can do all sorts of amazing things it’s no ordinary eat,

Just give it a try and you’ll see; licorice is a special kind of treat.
In a wink it can smile, in a blink it can frown,
In a moment it can wave at you or even be a crown.
It can do all sort of amazing things before you gobble it down.
It can be a little jump rope; it can tie in a big knot,
Just try it you will see, it can do a lot!
But I’m giving this treat to you so you can make a heart,
I hope you’ll know that in my heart you have a special part.
Use your imagination, spread your wings and fly!
If you can dream it, you can achieve it; do not let your chance pass by.
Love- Mrs. Gina

time with Grandma & Grandpa Swendsen

For Mother's Day we invited my parents over and made them a yummy dinner.  The kids had a blast spending time with Grandma & Grandpa.

my pretty little Adrianna...

This young lady has been such a blessing in my life.  I got to have a mini-photo shoot of Adrianna so she had some pics for the Idaho Days Pageant and a modeling thing that she's working on.  I just love this girl!

Easter egg hunt...

The Easter egg hunt this year was...how do I say this?...FREEZING!!  I mean really, candy and eggs in the snow?  What fun is that?  Actually, the kids had a ball and got plenty of candy.  They ended up with 7 full-sized candybars between them.  Josh loved the Hershey bar :)
It also happened to be my 30th birthday that day and my sweet friend Colleen surprised me with a cake that she and her daughters made.  I have such sweet friends and family that made my day a good one.
