Our baby girl was blessed today...so many emotions were running through me by the end of Sacrament Meeting I had cried nearly all of my make-up off. Tim did a wonderful job and the spirit was so strong. Alexys looked absolutely beautiful and I was so grateful that she stayed asleep and didn't cry during the blessing (that's been my worst fear). We had a nice lunch afterward with lots of friends and family. I'm so grateful for this precious little girl. She's so much fun...and her family loves her a lot.

The Wood Family
I got to do another fun photo shoot...this is my friend Corey and her cute family. She asked me to take pics for her so she could do her Christmas cards and of course I couldn't pass up the opportunity to go take pics. I just can't seem to get enough of it :) We had lots of fun....What a cute family!!

change...
I can't believe that my baby girl is already 3 1/2 weeks old! Time flies by so quickly and life is so busy that I'm just trying to take advantage of every second that I can to snuggle my little princess.
Having a baby around again has proved to be a bit of an adjustment....but I think that we're all adjusting well. Alexys slept through the night for the first time at 3 weeks old (yeah, I know I'm spoiled). She's a good natured little girl but likes to be held a lot. Which has made it a little hard for me to get anything done but the boys are all good to help out with her when I need her to be held. She smiled for the first time at 2 1/2 weeks. And if she smiles just right, you can see some cute little dimples (just like her momma when she was little). She's been so much fun, I could just hold her and snuggle her all the time. Tim has loved cuddling with her too and has been a great help to me. He's always anxious to get home from work so he can hold his little girl. The boys are so good to her, running and giving her a binki as soon as she lets out a little cry. (I know this is going to cause nothing but trouble, but it's so cute) They call her a squeeky toy because she squeeks a lot. It's amazing to me that we have 4 children, we have a wonderful home in a great community, Tim and I both have great jobs and (knock on wood) we are all healthy. Our family has been so blessed. Now if I can just slow down time or just stop things from changing so quickly....
Crazy hair day
Happy Halloween!
Halloween was lots of fun this year! Filled with visiting grandparents, great-grandparents, aunts, uncles, cousins and a trunk-or-treat in Richmond. We ended our night with three extremely full buckets of candy and three really happy little boys (and a baby sister that was ready to be done with it all). Happy Halloween!!

Ewww!! Pumpkin guts!!
It's my party and I'll cry if I want to!!
A quick visit...
October 16th, 2009
My sister and her kids had a 24 hour layover in SLC and so we had a quick get-together at my parent's house. He husband is in the military and they are moving from Alaska to Kansas. I'm so excited to have them a little closer (even though Kansas is still too far away). It's been a long time since we saw them so there was lots of catching up to do. We kept Nic and Ty out of school so that they could spend time with their cousins. We had so much fun!! Here are a few pics that we took of them and my grandparents who came to visit and spend time with us too. I miss my sister and her cute family...I love them so much and wish they were closer but it's good that we have the phone because we talk really often. Love you guys!!

Meet Alexys Marie Denton
She's finally here!! Our precious little one came into this world on Monday, October 12th at 2:25 PM. After only 6 hours of labor her daddy and I were so excited to see that yes, there was a baby girl that would be part of our family. She weighed in at 6 lbs 6 oz and is 18 inches long. She has dark hair all over her little head that is about an inch long and she has the most beautiful olive skin and perfect little features. Needless to say, we are extremely proud parents and are so excited for the adventures that a little girl will bring.
The boys didn't get to go to the Hospital due to new restrictions because of all the illnesses that are happening right now so they got to see her for the first time on Tuesday. They were so excited to hold her....especially Nic who proudly told his dad the night before that he would die for Alexys....(sigh) Josh could hardly wait to hug her and kiss her and Ty was all smiles when he finally got to hold his new baby sister.

I am so grateful to my Heavenly Father that he has blessed Tim and I with 4 healthy, beautiful children. And for a wonderful husband that has been a such a great daddy. I am so blessed!! I have a wonderful family, great friends and a Ward family who I sometimes would wonder if they were more excited for the arrival of Alexys than we were. Thanks to everyone for your kindness, love and prayers. Here are the first pics that we have of our new addition.
